Adamawa PDP inaugurates state EXCO

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Adamawa on Tuesday inaugurated the newly elected state executives with Belmont Dogo and Shekarau Yarima as the Chairman and secretary respectively.

Speaking at the ceremony in Yola, National Electoral Committee Chairman Jalo Ganga congratulated the new executives for their victory and urged them to take their responsibilities seriously.

He also tasked them to ensure unity and to continue to strengthen the party towards its victory during the 2027 General Elections and beyond.

Ganga appreciated the leadership of the party and all stakeholders for their contributions towards the success of the Congress.

In his acceptance speech, Dogo pledged to serve the party and its members to the best of their abilities.

He assured to discharge their responsibilities with humility and determination.

“To all our leaders, stakeholders, women, youths and loyal members of the party, I assure you that this administration will operate an open-door policy.

” I pledge that the affairs of the party shall be conducted with transparency, respect for due process and fidelity to the constitution of our great party.

“I call on every member of the PDP in Adamawa to put aside personal differences, embrace reconciliation and work together for the common interest of our party”, he said.

He further expressed appreciation to the National Leadership for the inauguration and for the confidence placed on them.

Adamanu Ribadu, Director General governorship campaign of the party also called for the unity of the party.

According to him, PDP is the credible party for the people in Adamawa that ruled the state for many years.

He urged the party supporters to rally for the victory of the party in 2027
