The committee, announced by the Yobe State NLC Chairman, Comrade Mukhtar Tarbutu, on Thursday in Damaturu, has completed its work and submitted its recommendations to the state council.
Tarbutu commended the committee for its efforts and expressed hope that the government would engage with the union on the issue.
He said the inauguration of the technical committee is a significant step towards ensuring the implementation of the minimum wage in the state.
In a related development, Tarbutu called on members and affiliates to pray for the release of the National President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, who was recently invited by the Nigerian Police Force.
