Saidu Jakusko Rescinds Resignation from APC Following Intervention

Hon. Saidu Hassan Jakusko, has rescinded his earlier resignation from All Progressive Congress (APC) following intervention by the stakeholders.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Jakusko attributed his decision to the intervention of top political leaders, family, and friends.
He expressed sincere apologies to Governor Mai Mala Buni, stating that he should have been properly informed before his initial decision to resign.
Jakusko also extended gratitude to Deputy Governor Idi Barde Gubana for his guidance and support in reversing the decision.
He acknowledged the efforts of former Lawmaker Zakari Ya’u Galadima, Special Adviser on Youth Affairs Hon. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu, former ANPP Chairman Alhaji Mohammed Ngordi, and other individuals who intervened in the matter.
Jakusko concluded by apologizing to all those who were offended by his previous action.
Recall that Jakusko, a prominent member and strong supporter of the APC in Jaba/Muguram Ward, Jakusko Local Government Area, Yobe State, has resigned from the party in a letter dated January 17, 2025.
