In a heartwarming gesture, 100 nursing mothers in Bauchi have received bags containing children’s kits and other essential items to help them care for their children and prevent malnutrition.
The donations were made by the Hope Alive Initiative, led by Olori Tomitope Enitan Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife, and Al-Muhibbah Foundation, a pet project of Bauchi State First Lady, Aisha Bala Mohammed weekend.
The ceremony, held at the Specialist Hospital in Bauchi, marked the eighth edition of the program since the foundation’s launch.
Olori Temitope Enitan emphasized that the foundation is committed to showing love and support to vulnerable individuals, particularly women and children.
The event coincided with St. Valentine’s Day, and Olori Temitope Enitan stressed that “there is no love without showing it to those who deserve it.”
The foundation has brought gifts to babies born during this season of love, with simultaneous events held across the country.
Aisha Bala Mohammed, Bauchi State First Lady, expressed her gratitude for the collaboration between Almuhibbah Foundation and the Hope Alive Initiative.
She highlighted the importance of showing love and compassion to those in need, particularly children and families in Bauchi State.
As part of the initiative, Almuhibbah Foundation provided food packages to 60 malnourished children across Bauchi State.
Mohammed emphasized that these children deserve every opportunity to grow healthy and strong, and this simple act of kindness will help provide them with the nourishment they need to thrive.
The Hope Alive Initiative also distributed 40 baby kits to children born in February, especially those born on Valentine’s Day.
These kits represent a collective commitment to ensuring that newborns have the tools for a healthy and bright future.
Aisha Bala Mohammed expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Olori Tomitope Enitan and everyone involved in making the event a success, emphasizing that their support and dedication are invaluable.
