TNYF condemns Orumi attack, calls for swift justice
By Ahmed Ahmed
The Tinubu Northern Youth Forum (TNYF) has strongly condemned the recent attack in Orumi, Edo State, describing it as a barbaric act that threatens national unity and peaceful coexistence.
In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Hon. Auwal Ibrahim Sansani, the group urged security agencies to take decisive action in identifying, arresting, and prosecuting the perpetrators without delay.
“No individual or group should be allowed to destabilize our country or threaten the peace that binds us together as Nigerians,” the statement read.
TNYF also called on government authorities, traditional rulers, and community leaders to collaborate in fostering peace and preventing further unrest.
The group emphasized the need for proactive security measures to protect lives and properties across all regions.
The statement reaffirmed TNYF’s commitment to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in nation-building, security enhancement, and peaceful coexistence.
It urged all Nigerians to reject violence, promote dialogue, and stand together against acts that threaten national stability.
“Justice must prevail. Peace must be upheld. Nigeria must remain united,” the forum declared.
