2027: Bauchi citizens rally behind Dr. Wunti to salvage state under APC

A coalition of concerned citizens of Bauchi State has called on Dr. Bala Wunti, to contest the 2027 governorship election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to salvage the state from its current socio-economic challenges.
This is contained in a communique read by Alhaji Liman Bello at the end of one-day interactive session on Sunday in Bauchi.
“The gathering brought together prominent politicians from the twenty local government areas of the state,
“Religious leaders, professionals, women and youth groups, artisans, respected elders, and representatives of the physically challenged. It said.
The group said Dr. Wunti’s humility, wealth of experience, philanthropy, and visionary leadership qualities were central to their decision.
They stressed that Bauchi State is in dire need of a leader with the capacity and passion to tackle pressing challenges in education, healthcare, agriculture, security, and the economy.
The forum unanimously resolved that Dr. Wunti should urgently heed the overwhelming call of Bauchi people to contest, emphasizing that his leadership would bring hope and transformation.
The group expressed optimism that with Dr. Wunti at the helm of affairs, the state would be repositioned to meet the yearnings and aspirations of its citizens, salvaging Bauchi from years of underdevelopment and stagnation.
