Prominent philanthropist and businessman, Kashim Musa Tumsa, has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the welfare of Yobe citizens through sustained investments in education, youth empowerment, and community development.

Tumsa made the pledge while heading to the venue of the 2025 budget presentation by Gov. Mai Mala Buni in Damaturu, where he was received by a large crowd of supporters who turned out to celebrate his humanitarian contributions.

He said his philanthropic efforts were inspired by a deep passion to uplift communities and complement the developmental drive of the Yobe State Government.

Tumsa noted that education would remain central to his interventions, describing it as the bedrock of sustainable growth and human capital development.

The philanthropist, who was accompanied by hundreds of admirers, said the show of support reflected the people’s appreciation of his ongoing commitment to social advancement and inclusive development.

He explained that his previous interventions, including scholarship awards, school rehabilitation, and supply of learning materials, had already begun to yield positive results.

Tumsa assured that more assistance would be extended to rural communities in 2026, with a focus on expanding access to quality education for underprivileged children.

He further expressed readiness to strengthen programmes aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery, promoting youth entrepreneurship, and reducing poverty across the state.

According to him, such interventions are consistent with the administration’s broader vision of economic recovery and social stability.

With his sustained support for government policies and continued demonstration of compassion, Kashim Musa Tumsa remains a symbol of hope and progress for the people of Yobe.
