Emir of Fika greets Gov. Buni at 54
The Emir of Fika and Chairman, Yobe Council of Traditional Rulers, Dr Muhammad Ibn- Abali, has congratulated Gov. Mai Mala Buni on the occasion of his 54th birthday.
This is contained in a statement by the Emir’s Special Adviser, Media, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar, in Potiskum on Friday.
He said : “ On behalf of the Council of Traditional Rulers, Fika Emirate and good people of Yobe State, I congratulate our leader as he attains the milestone of 54 years.
“At 54, your family and indeed, your associates and admirers have cause to be grateful to Almighty Allah for having granted you a life of great accomplishments and abiding fulfillment.”
The Emir described Buni as a dynamic leader whose policies had engendered peaceful co-existence amongst various communities in the state.
“ You have distinguished yourself as a legendary peacemaker, a strategist, resilient and committed politician, who ensures that development prevails across the state,” he noted.
Ibn-Abali therefore urged the governor to continue to use his position and connection to attract more projects and programmes to the state.
