Emir of Fika Appoints Abubakar New Chokalin Fika
The Fika Emirate Council announced on Friday, June 28, 2024, that His Royal Highness, the Emir of Fika and Chairman Yobe State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Dr Muhammadu Ibn Abali Muhammadu Idrisa CON, CFR, has appointed Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar as the new Chokalin Fika.
According to a press release signed by Alhaji Ali Gimba Fika, Acting Secretary of the Fika Emirate Council, the appointment takes immediate effect.
Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar, a fellow of Public Audit Media, is expected to bring his expertise to bear in his new role as Chokalin Fika.
The Emirate Council congratulated Alhaji Abubakar on his appointment and wished him success in his new position.
