The Yobe Youth Progressive Alliance (YYPA) for Dr. Babagana has distributed Ramadan iftar meals to vulnerable residents in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.

The gesture was carried out in support of the humanitarian vision of Dr. Babagana Mohammed Adam, the Managing Director of the Nigeria Food Corporation (NFC), targeting vulnerable groups in Malam Adamu Gari, Buni Yadi and Horeyinwa communities.

Beneficiaries included Almajiri children, persons facing health challenges and members of various Islamic study circles (Majalis), enabling many to break their Ramadan fast with dignity.

The distribution exercise was coordinated by Hon. Sadik Ali Waziri, who led members and volunteers of the alliance during the outreach across the affected communities.

Waziri said the initiative reflected the spirit of compassion and generosity associated with Ramadan, adding that the alliance remained committed to supporting vulnerable groups.

He noted that the programme was inspired by the humanitarian ideals promoted by Dr. Babagana Mohammed Adam, which emphasise community service and social responsibility.

Speaking on behalf of beneficiaries, Abdulmumini Ali Waziri Lawan Gari Malam Adamu, a resident of Horeyinwa, expressed appreciation for the support.

He said the intervention came at a critical time and helped many families and vulnerable individuals observe the Ramadan fast with relief and dignity.

The YYPA reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining humanitarian activities aimed at improving the welfare of vulnerable residents across communities in Yobe.
