FEDPODAM develops educational portal
The Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu (FEDPODAM) says it has set up a team to develop an educational portal to strengthen e-learning in the institution.
Dr Usman Kallamu, the Rector of the polytechnic made this known at the inauguration of the technical team on Friday, in Damaturu.
Kallamu charged members of the team to put in their wealth of experience to make the portal workable with the view of achieving the set goal.
He said if the portal is developed, it would ease students’ online registration process, access to their results and generation of transcripts among others.
In his remark, the Deputy Rector Academic, Dr Reuben Omotaryo called on the selected team members to split themselves into smaller groups for effective result.
Also speaking, the Registrar of the institution, Hajiya Ladidi Godowoli charged members to work hard on the challenging task given to them.
The team leader, Dr Ali Musa from Computer Engineering Department assured that they would put in their best and do the needful in the course of carrying out the assigned task.
