
APC organizing Secretary empowers youth, women with N4 million in Adamawa
Comrade Mustapha Ribadu, Organizing Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) Adamawa chapter has empowered no fewer than 400 youth and women with N4 million, each N10,000.
Ribadu made the presentation to mark his 46th year’s anniversary with the youth of Ribadu and Dasin Hausa communities in Fufore Local Government Area.
He said the gesture is to bring succor to the less privileged amongst his kindred instead of expending huge money in organizing birthday parties.
He assured them that they would continue to reap dividends of democracy as Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser (NSA) has pledged to ensure that the people get maximum democratic dividends.
According to him, in the past two years, Ribadu has brought many developments including setting up a state of the art ICT centre, constructing industrial boreholes, road projects and the ongoing construction of a general hospital among others.
He added that NSA has promised more empowerment initiatives to make youth and women to be self-reliant.
He further praised President Bola Tinubu for supporting development initiatives in Adamawa and urging the people to reciprocate the gesture through their continued support.
Dahiru Ribadu, Assistant Secretary of APC in Adamawa State, lauded the unprecedented development in Ribadu that touches the life of ordinary people by NSA and APC organizing Secretary.
He congratulated the community for having vibrant and respected leaders who continue to inspire hope and command respect across the globe.
Mr James Beka, Chairman APC Fufore LGA congratulated the organising Secretary for the 46th year’s anniversary and commend his for empowering the beneficiaries.
He said, the influence of National Security Adviser has accelerated development in the community and called on the people in the area to support the part for more development.
According to him, some of the projects include the rehabilitation of the long-neglected Ribadu road, ICT centre, industrial boreholes, and a state-of-the-art general hospital as some of the democracy dividends the area has witnessed recently.
Babaji Sallau, APC Ward Chairman in Ribadu described the gesture as excellent for touching the life of people at the grassroots.
According to him, the gesture by Mustapha Ribadu shows he is a true son of the soil whose leadership continues to inspire hope.
He called on those in leadership positions to emulate Ribadu.
Malam Ismail Mohammed a beneficiary appreciated the gesture that it would help him to harvest his farmland successfully.
