Yobe Governor Appoints Special Adviser on Grassroots Mobilisation
Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe has approved the appointment of a new Special Adviser on Grassroots Mobilisation.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Baba Malam Wali, FCAN, mni, and made available to the newsmen in Damaturu on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the appointment was based on the appointee’s track record of performance, dedication and commitment to the development of the state.
“It is hoped that you will strive hard to justify the confidence reposed in you by this appointment,” the statement said.
The SSG also conveyed the governor’s congratulations to the appointee, describing the position as “exalted” and a call to greater service.
Wali assured the new adviser of the government’s highest regards and support in the discharge of his duties.
