Breaking: Ganduje Resigns as APC National Chairman on Health Grounds
By Baba Dan’iya
Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje has resigned from his position as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing health-related reasons.
A reliable party source confirmed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja that Ganduje submitted his resignation letter to the APC National Secretary, Sen. Ajibola Basiru.
Ganduje, a former Governor of Kano State, was appointed APC National Chairman in 2023, following the resignation of Sen. Abdullahi Adamu.
The development comes amid ongoing consultations within the party’s leadership over its internal structure and preparations for future elections.
As at the time of filing this report, the APC leadership was yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
