
Gwaram community hails Bauchi Emir for appointing new district heads in Alkaleri

The Gwaram community in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State has lauded the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, for appointing two prominent sons of the area to key traditional leadership positions.
The Emir recently named Alhaji Bala Mohammed Gidado, a retired Comptroller of Customs, as the 9th Village Head (Sarkin) of Alkaleri, and Ambassador Yakubu Santuraki Sulaiman Adamu as the new District Head of Pali.

The Statement praised the wealth of experience and professional track records of both appointees, expressing confidence that their leadership would help address pressing issues within their domains.
According to the community, their integrity, dedication to service, and leadership acumen will complement government efforts in promoting peace, socio-economic growth, and improved welfare for residents.
“We are deeply grateful to our revered Emir for his foresight in giving our communities leaders whose wisdom will no doubt foster unity and progress,” the statement read.
The Gwaram community prayed for divine guidance for the new leaders and urged residents of Alkaleri and Pali to give them full cooperation and respect.
“Leadership thrives when supported by the people. We call on all sons and daughters of our communities to work hand in hand with the new District Heads to ensure their tenure brings positive transformation,” the statement concluded.
