Communities in Warji Local Government Area of Bauchi State have commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for delivering key infrastructural projects aimed at improving the lives of residents and boosting economic activities in the area.

The commendation was made on Thursday by the Executive Chairman of Warji LGA, Aminu Barmini, while leading a team of media executives, government officials, and journalists on an inspection tour of both ongoing and completed projects across the council.

Barmini highlighted several projects executed by the governor’s administration, including the construction of a General Hospital in Katanga community, a new local government lodge, a completed erosion control culvert in Dagu community, and the 19-kilometre Warji-Gwaram road.

He described the projects as life-changing, noting that they were part of the promises Governor Bala Mohammed made during his campaign to transform Bauchi State through infrastructural development, rural transformation, health, education, and economic empowerment.

“The construction of the erosion control culvert in Dagu has significantly reduced flooding, which previously destroyed farmlands, houses, and other properties.

“Similarly, the Warji-Gwaram road has opened up communities for trade and commerce, making movement of goods and services easier.”Barmini said.

The District Head of Warji, Ibrahim Ismaila, also lauded the governor for renovating and furnishing the district palace, describing it as a symbol of respect for traditional institutions.

A resident of Dagu community, Zubairu Mohammed, expressed gratitude for the culvert project, saying it has brought relief to the people ahead of the rainy season.

Barmini assured that the council would continue to work closely with the state government to ensure the sustainability of these projects and improve the quality of life for residents.
