By Baba Dan’iya
The Director-General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig.-Gen. Olakunke Nafiu, has charged members of the 2025 Batch ‘C’ in Yobe to represent the scheme honourably.
He delivered the appeal on Tuesday during an inspection tour of the state orientation camp, where he assessed facilities and interacted with corps members undergoing the three-week exercise.
Nafiu praised their discipline and commitment, advising them to uphold the core values of the scheme and contribute meaningfully to national development in their places of primary assignment.
The tour covered the hostels, training areas and clinic, with the Director-General emphasising the need for sustained upgrades to create a more conducive learning and living environment.
State NYSC officials accompanied him throughout the visit, during which he expressed optimism that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ would promote unity and service in line with NYSC objectives.
