Chevron Donates Two Ambulances to Yobe Govt

Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improved healthcare delivery following the donation of two ambulances by Chevron Nigeria Limited.
The Yobe State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Mohammed Lawan Gana, received the ambulances on behalf of the state government.
Presenting the vehicles to the governor in Damaturu, Gana said the ambulances would be deployed to the Maternal and Child Referral Centre at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital.
He said the donation would strengthen emergency response and referral services, particularly for maternal and child healthcare across the state.
Buni commended Chevron Nigeria Limited for supporting the state government’s healthcare development agenda.
The governor urged the management of the teaching hospital to utilise the ambulances strictly for their intended purposes and ensure proper maintenance for sustainability.
