373 officers, men of NCS promotes to next ranks in Adamawa
No fewer than 373 officers and men of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Adamawa State Command were promoted across various ranks.
SC Richard James, Command Public Relations Officer disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday.
He stated out of the number, 22 officers were formally decorated with their new ranks in a symbolic ceremony.
“The Controller of Corrections, Odunlami Jelil Ajani, congratulated the newly promoted officers.
“And charged them to see this advancement as a call to higher responsibility, professionalism, and renewed commitment to the core values of the Nigerian Correctional Service.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Minister for Interior, Hon. Olubumi Tunji Ojo, and the Controller General, Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche MFR mni, for approving the promotion.
The colourful ceremony was attended by service commanders, senior officers, family, and friends of the promoted officers.
CSC Miletus Thaddeus who spoke on behalf of the promoted officers pledged undivided loyalty to the service.
According to him, they will justify the confidence response in them for more work and dedication.
