Buni inspected the Lamisu Community Healthcare Centre and approved its upgrade to meet the growing healthcare needs of residents in the area.
He said the upgrade would improve access to quality primary healthcare services, particularly for women, children and the elderly.
The governor assured that his administration would construct the remaining 38 primary healthcare centres across the state, in fulfilment of his electioneering campaign promises to the people.
Buni also inspected the ongoing construction of the Machina modern market and the completed sesame seeds processing factory.
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and the pace of execution, noting that the projects would enhance economic activities and create employment opportunities for youths.
The governor commended the contractor handling the projects for adhering to specifications and timelines.
Earlier, Buni commissioned community projects, including a school, clinic, houses and a mosque, built by a philanthropist, Alhaji Balarabe Abdullahi, popularly known as Balarabe DJ, at Rugar Balarabe village.
He described the interventions as people-oriented projects that would directly improve living standards and complement government development efforts.
Buni reiterated his administration’s resolve to sustain infrastructure development to improve the welfare of residents across the state.
