2027: Tinubu/Danmodi united front inaugurates excos in Jigawa, pledges 500,000 votes

Dutse, Sept. 16, 2026 – A group, Tinubu/Danmodi United Front has inaugurated its executive members in Jigawa state in order to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gov Umar Namadi of the state a head of the 2027 general electrons.

Speaking at the event held at Kano Central Hotel, the Director-Generl of the group, Comrade Saleh Ahmed Birniwa, said the aims and objectives of the front is to create a platform of collective commitment for grassroots mobilisation and proper political engagements towards the success of the All Progressive Congress (APC), ahead of the 2027 general electrons.

Birniwa said the gesture is also aimed at establishing a solid structure at every polling units across the state for grassroots political support of APC during and after elections.

He further explained that the group is expected to serve as a vanguard in actualization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and 12-Point Development Agenda of Gov Umar, as well as to complement the efforts of the APC.

In his remarks, the Secretary-General of the group, Mr Murtala Muhammad, said the Tinubu/Namadi United Front is a grassroots mobilization network within the ruling APC, which focuses on securing the 2027 re-election bids for President Tinubu and Gov Umar Namadi.

Muhammad pledged that the group would mobilize about 500,000 votes for both Tinubu and Namadi in the 2027 general elections.

He explained the the group will focus its campaign and mobilisation using the numerous devidence of democracy brought by the president and governor, including empowerment, infrastructure, education, health, among others.

Also, the Deputy Governor of the state, Engr. Aminu Usman, lauded the group for its effort in mobilising support and votes for the APC.

Usman urged the group to ensure that they secure votes for both leaders from each of the 287 wards of the state.

He further urged the front and other political support groups to ensure that they registered with APC national campaign council for proper coordination of their activities.

On his part, the Commissioner for Special Duties and Humanitarian Affairs in the state, Mr Auwal Danladi-Sankara, commended the group for their efforts in supporting the victory of the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

Danladi-Sankara however, called on council chairmen and other political appointees across the state to ensure that they support party supporters for the overall victory of the APC.

Those inaugurated were Saleh Ahmed as Director-General, Garba Halilu, Deputy Director-General, Muntari Ishaq, Treasurer, Salamatu Dakar, Director Women Mobilisation, Sani Babura, Assistant Director-General Jigawa Northwest and Hudu Babangida, Assistant Director-General, Jigawa Central.

Others are; Hamza Muhammad Hadejia, Assistant Director-General Jigawa Northeast, Murtala Kazaure, Assistant Financial Secretary, Hafsat Muhammad, Deputy Director Women Mobilisation, Fatima Nini, Deputy Director Women Mobilisation Northwest, Fulani Kazaure, Deputy Director Women Mobilisation Jigawa Central, Sunusi Hudu, Publicity Secretary and Haruna Shuaibu as Financial Secretary, among others.
