Buni casts his vote in his home town

There was a large turnout of voters for the presidential, senate and house of representative elections in Buni Gari, Gujba local government area, hometown of Yobe state governor, Mai Mala Buni, who travelled there to join his people to casts his vote.
An official of INEC who spoke to our reporter said they received voting materials as early as 6:am, while accreditation and voting started by 8:30 am.
He also said the BVAS, as at the time, is working well and normal as expected.
Governor Buni who spoke to journalists after casting his vote in unit 004 Yerimari Ali of Bulturum Yerimari voting booth expressed satisfaction with the turnout of voters and the smooth conduct of the election considering the fact that Buni Gari was among one ofthe worst affected areas by the Book Haram insurgency in the state.
He also commended INEC for introducing the new BVAN machine which he noted is fast tracking the voting process.
