
Group appoints Buni’s Aide as National Media Director
A group, Team New Nigeria (TNN) has approved the appointment of Ibrahim Saleh as National Director of Media Engagement and Strategic Communications.
The appointment was contained in a statement signed by the TNN’s President, Modibbo Farakwai on Wednesday and made available to newsmen in Damaturu.
As professional journalist Saleh obtained B. A. (Hons) in Mass Communication degree from the prestigious University of Maiduguri.
According to the statement, he garnered experience while working with Daily Trust newspaper with several stories published to his credit.
He was also a reporter for The Scope Newspaper, and a lecturer of journalism at the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe.
He acquired experience working with a telecommunications giant, Airtel Networks Limited.
He currently serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Information to His Excellency, Gov. Mai Mala Buni, the Governor of Yobe.
“Part of his role as the Director Media Engagements and Strategic Communications is to assists the National Publicity Secretary in coordinating all information and public relations of the TNN,” the statement added.
