Fed Poly Damaturu admits 1,211 students

Damaturu, May 24, 2024 (NAN) The Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, admitted 1,211 National Diploma and Higher National Diploma students for the 2023/2024 academic session.
The Rector of the institution, Mr Shettima Ali, gave the figure at the 2024 Matriculation Ceremony of the institution on Friday.
Ali was represented by his Deputy (Administration), Dr Ibrahim Gashua.
Ali acknowledged the importance of academic achievements and good character, urging the new students to embrace discipline, perseverance and innovation.
He assured the students that the polytechnic would prioritise their well-being.
He said that the institution would complete its new buildings and provide more lecture halls and office spaces to enhance learning.
The Registrar of the polytechnic, Mr Mu’azu Iliyasu, thanked stakeholders who contributed to the success of the ceremony.
He advised the students to take their studies seriously, saying that determination and focus would enable them to unlock their potential. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
