Youth exodus hits APC: Top supporter resigns in Yobe
Edited by Samson Ola
Hon. Saidu Hassan Yusuf, a prominent member and strong supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jaba/Muguram Ward, Jakusko Local Government Area, Yobe State, has resigned from the party.
In a letter dated January 17, 2025, Yusuf cited his constitutional right to belong to a political party of his choice as the reason for his decision.
He also expressed gratitude to the ward executives for their support during his time as an active party member
Yusuf’s resignation may have significant implications for the APC’s political fortunes in the ward, potentially sparking further defections from the party among young members.
