Community Salutes Yobe Gov. On Appointment of Tonga as HOS

The people of Gulani local government area, who visited Gov. Mai Mala Buni, thanked the governor on the appointment of Alhaji Tonga Betara, as acting Head of Service (HoS) of the state.

Director General Press and Media Affairs to the Governor made this known in a statement on Thursday in Damaturu.
The prominent indigenes of Gulani local government area eulogized the governor for appointment of sons of the local government area into key positions and providing the area with infrastructure to improve the lives of the people.
The speakers include Commisioners of Wealth Creation Alhaji Aji Bularafa, Power and Energy Alhaji Muhammad Muhammad Bara, and Alhaji Bunu Zannah, member representing Gulani Constituency in the state assembly.
They described the appointment of Betara as the new state Head of Service as an honour done to the people of the area .
The speakers said the appointment of Betara, a seasoned civil servant as Head of service was a ’round peg in a round hole’ that would add value to governance and service delivery to the people.
They pledged their unalloyed loyalty to governor Buni’s administration, assuring their support at all times
