Buni Presents Cars to 17 APC LG Chairmen in Yobe

Gov. Mai Mala Buni has presented brand new Honda Accord cars to 17 Local Government Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress in Yobe.

The governor presented the vehicles at the party’s State Secretariat in Damaturu.

Buni also donated Sallah clothes to the 37 state executive members of the party.

The governor, represented by his deputy, Idi Barde Gubana, said the gesture was to boost the morale of the party executives.

He said the support would encourage them to work harder to ensure a landslide victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.

Buni charged the beneficiaries to remain loyal and dedicated to the progress and unity of the party.

Earlier, the State Chairman of the APC, Muhammad Gadaka, commended the governor for the gesture.

Gadaka urged the chairmen who received the vehicles to reciprocate the support by remaining committed to the success of the party.

Similarly, the Secretary to the State Government, Baba Malam Wali, donated N2 million to assist the chairmen to fuel the vehicles.
