APC urges unity, support for Tinubu, Wali in 2027
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe North Senatorial District has called on its members to remain united and support the party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The call was made by the Yobe APC Chairman, Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka, at the APC grand rally and reception held at the Dandal, Emir’s Palace, Nguru.
The rally also witnessed the formal defection of House of Assembly candidates who contested the 2027 elections under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Machina and Nguru Local Government Areas to the APC.
Gadaka commended the defectors for joining the APC, describing their decision as a demonstration of courage and foresight.
He said the APC remained committed to providing good governance in Yobe State and Nigeria, and urged members to work together for the success of the party in the 2027 elections.
The chairman called on APC supporters to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s governorship candidate, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali, as well as other APC candidates contesting the National and State Assembly elections.
Representing Gov. Mai Mala Buni, the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana, commended the organisers of the rally and urged APC supporters to vote for all the party’s candidates in the 2027 elections.
Also speaking, the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali, pledged to sustain the policies and programmes of the Buni administration aimed at improving the living conditions of the people.
The rally was attended by APC National and State Assembly members, commissioners, advisers, local government chairmen and other party leaders and supporters.
The event formed part of the APC’s ongoing political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
