Lamido of Adamawa inaugurates Dodore mosque, Islamic center Yola

Ahaji Barkindo Mustapha, Lamido of Adamawa on Friday inaugurated Dodore Jummu’at Mosque and Islamic center Yola and called on the Muslim Community to contribute their own part for sustaining the center for Islamic development.

Lamido, represented by the Wakili Adamawa, Alhaji Hassan Amin described the Jummuat Mosque as key for Islamic development in Adamawa and country at large.

He said, maintenance of such a center is the responsibility of the Muslim Community especially by those who believe in Allah.

He prayed to those who donated for the construction of the Mosque for Almighty Allah to bless them with Paradise.

Lamido further tasked parents to teach their Children good characters and understand maintenance of the centre is collective responsibility.

Sheik Ibrahim Dahiru-Bauchi also called on Muslims to double effort in worshiping God as the way forward for fruitful life and ensure good upbringing of their children by teaching them the Quran to fair God.

He advised Muslims faithful to intensify in seeking forgiveness and salutations to prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him for more blessings on earth and life after.

Dahiru-Bauchi said, seeking forgiveness is a way of getting blessings, wealth creation, protection among many other blessings.

In his remarks, Suleiman Ribadu, who spoke on behalf of the management committee and Ribadu family thanked and appreciated everyone for their contribution.

He explained that the Islamic center is open to all Muslims who were willing to contribute or partner for Islamic development in the state and country at large.

The highlight of the ceremony is National prayer for peace and security in the country.

Our Correspondent reports that the center was constructed in three years by Malam Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser.

And the center has the following facilities: worship place for both male and female sections, mutuary, media center for the propagating Islam, classes and offices and among others.
