53 Christian intending pilgrims perform 2026 pilgrimage from Adamawa
No fewer than 753 intending Christian pilgrims set for the 2026 Christian pilgrimage Israel from Adamawa State says, Executive Secretary of Adamawa state Christian pilgrimage Board, Chief Jeofery Garba.
Garba disclosed this to news men during the screening of intended pilgrims in Yola.
He said preparations are ongoing to ensure a hitch free exercise from the state to the holy Land.
According to him, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the state has approved sponsorship of 500 pilgrims.
He added that out of which 120 sponsors from the local government while the self-sponsored pilgrims made up the balance number.
The executive secretary urged the intending Pilgrims to continue cooperating with the board officials towards ensuring hitch free exercise.
He further expressed appreciation to the National Christian Pilgrims Commission headquarters for their support and presence during the screening exercise.

The screening process has been very thorough, from the application forms, distribution and the returns of the forms and documents.
Garba confirmed that the screening exercise would last three days and the screening panel includes officers from the National Christian Pilgrims Commission, representatives of the NDLEA, Immigration Service, Police, DSS and other security agencies.
