NEDC appoints state coordinator in Yobe
North-East Development Commission (NEDC) has appointed Prof Ali Abbas as the commission’s substantive and pioneer state coordinator in Yobe.
Alhaji Mohammed Alkali, the Managing Director and CEO of the commission made the announcement on Sunday in Damaturu.
Alkali directed the newly appointed Coordinator to take full charge the commission’s affairs of the State with immediate effect.
He charged the appointee to make sure the Yobe State’s remained effectively functional and operational.
Abbas expressed appreciation My special appreciation to Gov Mai Mala Buni for nominating him for the position.
He equally thanked the board and management of NEDC for the confirmation of appointment.
Abbas pledged to work hard in order to justify the confidence reposed on him by the state government and management of the commission.
