Buni flags off construction of Geidam Ultra-Modern market

The Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, on Thursday flagged off the construction of Geidam Ultra-Modern Market at Geidam local government area of the state.
The contract was awarded to Green and Blue construction firm at the cost of N3. 8 billion with completion period of twelve months.
Speaking during the occasion, the governor said the market would improve trade and commercial activities in the local government as well as facilitate inter trade activities with neighboring state of Niger Republic.
This event marks part of his campaign for the 2023 in Geidam local government of the state.
He also used the occasion to commission two newly constructed primary healthcare centres as part of 138 healthcare centres constructed by his administration within the first three years of his tenure.
He also commissioned one renovated primary health care center as part of effort to ensure sound health care delivery services to the citizens.
