Equatorial Guinea DG Faces Sex Scandal
Malabo, Equatorial Guinea – The Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), Baltasar Ebang Engonga, is currently embroiled in a major scandal after explicit videos allegedly featuring him in compromising situations were discovered.
The videos reportedly involve high-profile individuals, including his brother’s wife, his cousin, and the sister of the country’s President.
The scandal unfolded during a fraud investigation when authorities found over 300 videos on Ebang Engonga’s computer, depicting encounters with multiple women, some of whom are married. The footage, allegedly recorded with consent, has been leaked online, sparking widespread outrage.
Equatorial Guinea’s Vice President, Teodoro Nguema, condemned the inappropriate conduct in a statement on X, emphasizing that sexual relations are prohibited in government offices. He warned of strict disciplinary action for any violations.
Ebang Engonga, a married man with six children, has been a key figure in the agency, overseeing financial investigations and combating corruption. However, he has denied the authenticity of the videos, claiming they were AI-generated by his enemies.
