Gov. Fintiri Mourns Bayelsa Deputy Governor

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa has extended his heartfelt condolences to the people and Government of Bayelsa State on the passing of Deputy Governor, Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.

Fintiri extended the condolence in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary Mr Humwashi Wonosikou, on Thursday in Yola.

“I am shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of this remarkable leader, who embodied trust, integrity, and dedication.

“I extend my deepest sympathies to the bereaved family, friends, and associates of the late Senator, as well as to Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State”, he said.

The Governor acknowledges the significant contributions of the late Deputy Governor, “Whose courage, determination, and passion inspired many.

According to the statement, his tireless efforts towards the growth and development of Bayelsa State will be deeply missed, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

Gov. Fintiri prays that God grants the family the strength to bear this immense loss and that the soul of the departed finds eternal rest in peace.

“May his memory be a blessing to the people of Bayelsa State and Nigeria, and may his contributions to nation-building continue to inspire us all”, he stated.
