Tinubu meets Buni, Gaidam on Yobe development, security

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe and the Minister of Police Affairs, Sen. Ibrahim Gaidam, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, made this known in a statement issued on April 21 in Damaturu.
He said the meeting focused on strengthening collaboration and securing additional Federal Government support to boost infrastructural development in the state.
Mohammed added that discussions also centred on enhancing security to sustain ongoing development initiatives of the Yobe Government.
According to him, President Tinubu commended Buni and Gaidam for their commitment to the development of the state.
Our Correspondent reports that the meeting underscores efforts to deepen cooperation between the Federal and Yobe Governments.
