
Dr. Ahmad Appointed University Librarian of Sa’adu Zungur University

The Sa’adu Zungur University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Aliyu Ahmad PhD, MIM, MPhil as its new University Librarian.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Auwal Hassan, Spokesperson of the University made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Bauchi
This appointment marks a significant milestone in the university’s efforts to enhance its library services and support academic excellence.
Dr. Aliyu Ahmad, a seasoned librarian with extensive experience, joins Sa’adu Zungur University from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where he held various positions, including Chairman Library Liaison Committee and Head of Arabic Unit at the College of Medical Sciences.
The Vice-Chancellor of Sa’adu Zungur University, Professor Fatimah Tahir, welcomed Dr. Ahmed to the SAZU community, expressing optimism that his expertise will enhance library services and support the university’s academic programs.
Dr. Ahmed’s appointment takes effect immediately, and he will be responsible for leading the university’s library services, developing library policies, and collaborating with faculty and students to support academic excellence.
