NUJ N/East congratulates Muhammad on appointment as acting FRCN Zonal Director

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), North East Zone, has extended warm congratulations to Comrade Dahiru Garba Muhammad on his recent appointment as the Acting Zonal Director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the North East Zone.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Zonal Secretary, Abubakar Musa Waziri, on Friday the Union described the appointment as a well-earned recognition of Garba Muhammad’s years of dedicated service and outstanding leadership in the broadcast industry.

According to the statement, Garba Muhammad’s contributions at the helm of Radio Nigeria’s Globe FM, Bauchi, and Fombina FM, Yola, have been marked by professionalism, innovation, and a commitment to public service.

“We are confident that his wealth of experience and visionary leadership will further strengthen and reposition the seven FRCN stations across the North East for greater impact,” the Union noted.

The NUJ reaffirmed its readiness to continue collaborating with the FRCN under Garba Muhammad’s leadership and expressed hope for a productive relationship that will benefit both media professionals and the listening public.

The Union wished him success in his new role and prayed for wisdom and strength as he assumes the new responsibility.
