Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a fulani Socio-cultural group has called on the people of Yobe to build a peaceful coexistence for development of the state.

Mr Sale Alhassan, the National Secretary of the group made the called shortly after inaugurating a new leadership in Damaturu on Friday.

“ We are here in Yobe for three reasons; one to swear in our state executives, which we have done successfully. Secondly, to emphasise the need for peace building and peaceful existence,” he said.

Alhassan said that herders and farmers often clash in the country because they were neglected.

“ The pastoralists in this country have been neglected and this lead to having issues related to grazing areas,” he said.

According to him, pastoralists have been single out and denied access to large resources in the country.

The group’s scribe called on members to support the candidature of Tinubu and Shettima presidential ambition as well as the  re-election of Gov. Mai Mala Buni, in the forthcoming general election.

“ We are supporting the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 election because Shettima, the APC vice presidential candidate has promised to look into the pastoralist problems in the country, if elected,” he said.

Alhassan cautioned members in the state against committing any form of crime.
