Yobe Govt Reaffirms Commitment to Civil Servants’ Professional Growth

The Yobe State Government has reiterated its commitment to the professional development and welfare of its civil servants.

Mr. Tonga Betara Bularafa, the State Head of Service, stated this on Friday in Damaturu during an inspection of the ongoing civil service promotion examination across the state.

Bularafa said the examination, a major criterion for promotion to the next level for senior civil servants, was being conducted at three centres.

He listed the centres as Government Girls’ Unity College, Damaturu; College of Administration, Management and Technology (CAMTECH), Potiskum; and Umar Suleiman College of Education, Gashua.

The Head of Service urged the officers to reciprocate the government’s gesture with hard work and professionalism.

He interacted with the candidates at the centres, ensuring that the examination process was conducted in a fair and transparent manner.

“We are dedicated to the growth and development of our civil servants, and this examination is a testament to our commitment to merit-based career advancement,” Bularafa said.

“I urge all candidates to approach this examination with diligence and integrity, and I wish them the very best in their endeavors.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Ibrahim Bomai, the Rector of CAMTECH Potiskum, assured the state government of the college’s commitment to sustaining effective examination processes for civil servants seeking promotion.

Bularafa was accompanied on the inspection tour by key officials, including the Permanent Secretary, Establishment, Mr. Shuaibu Ibrahim Amshi; Director Admin, Mr. Mohammed Mustapha Gambo; and the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Yobe State Council, Comr. Rajab Mohammed Isma’il.
