The National Vice Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the North-East, Senator Nazif Sulaiman, has appealed to experienced politicians especially those who feel sidelined, disappointed, or betrayed in their current parties to embrace the ADC as a credible platform for rebuilding trust and strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.
Speaking with journalists on Monday in Bauchi, Sulaiman said the ADC is deliberately opening its doors to credible and principled leaders who are determined to contribute to national progress.
He noted that politicians with a genuine passion for service would find the party a refreshing alternative driven by integrity and innovation.
He described the ADC as a party “built on vigour, strength, and reliability,” stressing that despite not having sitting governors, it remains strategically positioned to emerge stronger in the 2027 elections.
According to him, the party’s focus on transparency, internal stability, and people-centered policies sets it apart from the old political order.
Sulaiman dismissed concerns about internal wrangling, stating that unlike other political parties that burden aspirants with exorbitant nomination fees, the ADC prioritizes inclusivity and affordability to encourage wider participation.
“We are not facing internal challenges, and we will not adopt the exploitative practices of others. Our doors remain open to all Nigerians committed to genuine democratic renewal,” he added.
He reaffirmed that the ADC is steadily building a movement capable of restoring public confidence in politics and delivering meaningful development.
