NUJ hails Yobe daughters’ international victory
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Yobe State Council, has commended three female indigenes of the state for emerging winners at a global competition.
The council, in a statement on Friday in Damaturu, celebrated the outstanding performance of Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayyah Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli.
The NUJ described their success as a pride to the state and a source of inspiration to youths across the nation.
It said the feat demonstrated the immense potential and resilience of Yobe’s young people in attaining excellence on the world stage.
The union also lauded the administration of Gov. Mai Mala Buni for providing an enabling environment that nurtured talents to thrive.
It urged other youths in the state to emulate the winners’ commitment, hard work and pursuit of excellence.
The NUJ congratulated the three achievers and assured them of its continued support.
