APC pledge to conduct credible primaries in Adamawa — Official

All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa has pledged to conduct free, fair and credible primary elections across all the elective positions in the State.
Dr Victor Dogo, State Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the party gives the assurance in an interview with the newsmen in Yola.
He said that the party is also fully ready for direct primaries and where the candidates agreed to choose one person as consus is allowed.
“The statement by the National Chairman shows that the APC is open to certisfy everyone via the direct primaries.
“But it doesn’t mean we are going contrary to the Constitutional provision of consensus or direct primaries.
“People most understand that whenever they said consensus, it means their most be a situation where by trying to resolve it did not fall apart but we are fully ready to go for direct primaries .
“You have to romance and join hands with everyone because at the end of the day there is a place for everybody in the party system”, he said.
Dogo further called on the aspirant to go about what they were doing for the interest of the party and to control their uterences against other aspirants.
